attaboy
Here's the link for the modified bios for the Asus eee pc 1000h: http://osrom.net/biosmod/ Credits for this go to Kabyl! Without this modded bios it's impossible to install a distro on the Asus 1000h. (to my knowledge) Here's the video. As you can see it runs very smooth. Need help with audio driver, better WiFi support, support for function keys and LAN driver. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOfZ0cPoZFY Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119498-eee-pc-1000h-and-leopard-driver-issues/#findComment-846347 Share on other sites

muxion
Greets! Heard about you over on MSIWind. I am looking to get OSX on my 1000H (that's really why I bought it) I haven't found a place to get the MSIWINDOSX iso yet. Thanks for all your work! I'll keep watching both forums... phungy
I got msiwindosx86 to work on the 1000h but now my USB ports and SD card slot don't read anything I insert inside. This is useless cause I can't transfer the necessary files to get wifi working Anyone encounter this issue? Is there some code that can force it to read from the usb port? phungy
EDIT: I got the USB ports working. Now for wif: do I just install the ralinktech .dmg file and all should be good? or would I need to install the bcm43xx_enabler.sh via terminal again? m16
Dell Mini 9 is much easier.. Anyone reading this thread that doesn't have a Netbook yet, you should get a Dell Mini 9.. No, because the Dell Mini 9 is tiny and therefore unusable... quietthomas
I found this page very useful: http://eeemac.blogspot.com/2008/12/install...01-or-1000.html All I need is to get WiFi and LAN working, as I don't have the Ralink wifi card (have Atheros 5007eg, and am having problems with it). gt170
just installed ideneb 1.4 (10.5.6) on my new eeePC 1000H. Got almost everything working but the powermanagement/battery meter. used the eNik guide/tools. tried several other things eeeBoot ... but still not working. I'm on 10.5.7 in the meantime. Had success with battery meter and sleep earlier today but had to reinstall everything right after that. any idea? what battery/power related kexts/bundles do you have installed? what ACPI stuff? could anyone do a package of all this from a working installation and post it here? >>>> solved! use the package from over here: http://ipis-osx.wikidot.com/forum/t-141750...-hotkey-enabler to enable hotkeys/brightness control/sleep/powerbutton & install modifyed dsdt.aml (I used the 0.4 File) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119498-eee-pc-1000h-and-leopard-driver-issues/#findComment-1281447 Share on other sites
