ricksa Posted July 28, 2008 Share Posted July 28, 2008 Hi, Im having a problem with my time in Mac os, i set the right time and the right time zone in mac, but when ever i log out and log into windows (bootcamp) and then return to Mac the time always changes by its self!!! Any Help?? This is because Mac and PC store the time in different locations; one from bios, one from the hard drive. Easiest thing is to change the time zone the PC. You should set UTC time in the bios as it's used on all macs. Mac's run an ntpclient on boot to set the system time according to user set timezone. Windows itself assume's that Bios time is set to localtime. you need to set windows to use 'internet time server' to have a sync time between each os's.
