FrankOS_Scripting
Pay attention to these CPU cause P4 may overheat and toast. Or like the P4 HT desktop like the Prescott model I have (3 Ghz) is very hot easily. So it can be nice but be aware Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/117865-how-to-overclock-intel-pentium-4-ht-mobile/#findComment-836163 Share on other sites
vbetts
The desktop LGA Prescott and some Woodcrests overclock pretty decently considering they're already hot, but you need NICE cooling just to overclock it stable, which laptops are not made overclock friendly. (MoC)
Laptop overclocking is a big no-no. Unless you want to fry that laptop I wouldn't recommend doing what you're trying to do. BlackCH
Those CPUs get already very hot with the stock frequency. I use to have a toshiba with a P4 mobile 3.2 ghz, what a piece of {censored}. Sometimes was so hot you could hardly put it on your lap!.
