Jason_Thames
You rock my socks romey-rome! I have been using this for a while now and like it much better than iTheater... Thanks for the find! EDIT: BTW... Movie Trailers are working and are totally useable with this version. Now that we have a UB it is MUCH faster! TranSport
Has anyone tried it on a hackintosh osx86 box? Or just the real Macs? Curious and very interested as front row is just too barebones for me... But I also don't want to screw up my current config. It's running without QE or CI but its a bit laggy. DVDs obviously don't play for me, but I'm hopping this and the speed issue will be resolved with a supported video card. TranSport
Yes I just installed it on a Asus intel 915/ i900 gma chipset. QE/ CG Working. Program works like a charm. Forget about Front row this is a better app. It won't read my TV Tuner but it is a nvidia and there are no kexts for this yet anyway. It does read most of my nvidia remote functions. I do wish there was a way to set the remote functions to a more customizeable menu as in the iTV remote program. But it does seem a bit more intune and complete than iTV. I am getting full Itunes support and DVD playback as well as some Online TV functions. Overall the best M.C. suite I have used on Mac and next best to XP MCE. suleiman
it is an awesome find, the only downside here is that the real media files and wmv files don't play yet, due to the lack of web-browser plugin's for both. When those are available you should be able to scan down to the TV section and ditch that ugly box for good Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11745-mediacentral-universal/#findComment-74869 Share on other sites
