iScott
Yes I did. It had spotty 3G, apps were crashing and locking up the phone, and I was having to do a hard reboot atleast twice a day from the lock ups. I have the original iPhone, and it never locked up on me. So I ordered the new Samsung Instinct and switched to Sprint. I love Apple products, but this one just pissed me off to much. I know that the Instinct is not as good as the iPhone, but I need a phone that does not lock up on me all the time. The funny thing is that the AT&T store made me pay a restocking fee on a phone that they will send back to Apple under warranty. Anyone else having these type of problems? Mine's worked perfectly so far; no lock-ups at all (haven't restarted with the exception of when I jailbroke it). A couple apps crashed, but updates to those apps have fixed those problems since. 3G isn't everywhere, but didn't you look at a coverage map before you got the phone? I have to deal with EDGE right now, but once I start back to school I'll have 3G. If you didn't like the new iPhone, what made you get rid of the old one? Other than selling it unlocked on ebay for quite a bit of money... Numberzz
You ever think of restoring your phone? I've had to restore mine 3 times since I got it. But then again that's because I mess around with the files and stuff. I wonder if the problems you had were due to bugs in the older firmware. I guess I did update it as soon as I got it home too. iScott
I did check the coverage map for the 3G service, although it is not where my house is, it is in place that I frequently go to and that was where it was spotty. On the coverage map the whole area was supposed to be 3G. I also reset it to factory twice. I think I just got a bum one. I am getting my Instinct today and I will see how their service is. At least where my house is there is 3G for sprint.
