Suzie's Soliloquy
Try booting with the old Modbin Kernel... it might be named something like "mach_kernel.backup" or just "Modbinkernel" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/117045-cant-boot-after-update/#findComment-829025 Share on other sites

magnat2
NO REPLY? Somebody plz help me out. Press F8 at darwin boot and type update -v , or try with you older kernel writing modbinkernel the same way, you dont have to boot to do this. When you turn on your computer you will see darwin bootloader saying "Press F8 for advanced option" or something like that, in that time press F8 and instead of typing -x or -x -v type modbinkernel and press enter and it will boot from modbinkernel, you can try too: modbinkernel -x to boot from safe mode. Good luck! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/117045-cant-boot-after-update/#findComment-833128 Share on other sites

magnat2
OK. Thnx. If i were you, the next time i would want to update i would`t mix any kernels, like installing modbinkernel and update to vanilla, that`s surely the reason why you system broke down, i think it was least, good luck!
