razerbug
My Mac (okay... Hack) doesn't always pick up USB things plugged in, or takes a few goes to detect them... I don't think this is a OS/Hardware problem as it is literally once or twice a month it does this most of the time works fine On vista I just force it to "scan for plug and play hardware" and the missing device appears, is there a similar function on OSx? and if so, where can I find the button? cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/116903-search-for-plug-and-play-devices/ Share on other sites

If these 2 things are not the same version, USB doesn't seem to detect things correctly. razerbug
Well - it works most of the time but I'd be willing to have a butchers make sure I've got matching things, but as Nirmalya said: how do you check and fix it? coolied
How about asking a mod to move this thread to the OSX86 Project "Hardware and Drivers" section where it belongs, and i'd be willing to bet you'd be getting alot more answers. This part of the forums is for real Mac questions, not Hackintosh questions.
