The ePic One
I installed Kalyways 10.5.2 without any problems. The only problem I have so far is that the mouse is jumping across the screen every few seconds. I have a logitech G7, and at first thought it was the mouse. But after testing various different mouses it's NOT the mouse. I would really appreciate if you guys helped me! This is the only problem I have! biird
I had this problem with 10.5.2, but after I upgraded to 10.5.3 it went away. I'm currently on 10.5.4 and I haven't had an issue with it. Search for Zephyroth's ASU and use it update to 10.5.4 (if pmcnano really is a psychic and you are on AMD). normanbates
I had this problem with 10.5.2, but after I upgraded to 10.5.3 it went away. I'm currently on 10.5.4 and I haven't had an issue with it. Worked a long time with 10.5.2 and no problems there. Very strange. tehnick
Okay, so there is Athlon 64 X2 specific issues with OS X. Is that a confirm? I've been encountering weird mouse lag issues, along with a slew of other weird issues that are difficult to explain since I've started using OS X. I've been using it since the first x86 Tiger releases leaked, so it's been a while. Some of the installs I've done have been more evident then others, but it seems most of them pop up when it's forced to do more CPU intensive tasks. I've tried posting help topics about this stuff but nobody ever responds to them, but I find it hard to believe no one else has experienced these seemingly random hiccups. I've been seriously considering ditching this rig for a new Intel one soon. Snerler
Yes i used to have the problem along with ethernet problems on my Nforce4 motherboard with an Althlon X2. The mouse jumping problem hasn't happened in while now, and the only thing that changed was the addition of a pci ethernet card and updating to 10.5.3 and 10.5.4. There are hints that its about to happen during heavy disk use, but it goes to normal in a few seconds.
