Not really, it installs a new kernel which would mess you up.

 

What I did is after it installed & rebooted, I booted using an old 9.2.2 kernel I had sitting on the HD and then I installed the 9.4.0 modbin kernel & system.kext file.

 

I guess everything is working, it says version 10.5.4 in about this mac, I havent done much testing though

using the search option would have made a difference ....

 

So would keeping pointless and discouraging thoughts like this to yourself. The search on this board is really bad. Besides, its a forum intended to help others, why not do that? Instead of rudely telling someone to use the search engine (which sucks), post a few of those links you found so others can benefit.
