  1. should i post installation tutorial for dv7 2043

Did you get the processor working without issues or did you have to use cpus=1? Because that was a problem for me.
  2. iATKOS V7 on Toshiba Satellite A200-1OR

I dont think you can... i believe all mobility hd cards have that issue with OSX.. something to do with the internal connector used for the lcd. I could be wrong, I just havent heard of any success stories. as for returning to VESA drivers i just deleted everything that said ATI in it..... but you will lose QE/CI and resolutions and what not. snorry
  3. 9800 GTX working in OSX86

I dont know what GFX Strings is, I installed the nvinject kext though
  4. 9800 GTX working in OSX86

I tried doing this with an EVGA 9800GTX+ (Which I assumed would work, maybe not) and there's a bunch of horizontal lines that appear on the screen whenever something on the screen changes also Quartz Extreme doesnt work.. and CI is software (Which I think means it's not working as well). However dual-monitors works.... anyone have any ideas?
  5. Is it safe to upgrade to 10.5.4?

Not really, it installs a new kernel which would mess you up. What I did is after it installed & rebooted, I booted using an old 9.2.2 kernel I had sitting on the HD and then I installed the 9.4.0 modbin kernel & system.kext file. I guess everything is working, it says version 10.5.4 in about this mac, I havent done much testing though
  6. Hi, is there anyway to replace the kernel through like linux or something Here's why: I heard people talking about how the 10.5.4 Mac Software Update worked (they neglected to mention they were using vanilla) so I did it and Mac wont boot and yeah..... I have a 9.4.0 modbin kernel and system.kext (not on the mac partition) and I was wondering how I would go about installing the new stuff when Mac wont work...... I tried to replace it from Ubuntu but it told me that the device was read-only. Or is there any way to access a shell? Cause I think I have a backup of 9.2.2 modbin kernel on the mac partition if I need it.
  7. Hello, I has a little bit of a problem and was wondering if anyone could help me out..... I'm using Kalyway 10.5.2 and I got my WG311T wireless card to work using this kext http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry704357 (see the post by raoul) and it works, however after a while it will stop working and I have to restart my computer.... It will say it's still connected to the network, but nothing will happen if I go to any web pages, and if I try turning off/on the adapter it wont find any wireless networks. I see a lot of people with WG311T so i'm wondering if they have/had the same problem.
  8. Is there a 9.2.2 Kernel out that supports sleep? If not, can anyone tell me where I can get a 9.2 system.kext file? (If you havent guessed already I'm trying to get USB Mass Storage to work without any shell scripts while keeping Sleep intact. xD) Thanks to anyone who answers.
  9. Hello thar. I has a queshtun!! Is there anything I can do to get sleep working in KALYWAY 10.5.2, if I try using it makes the computer turn off while still being on, it's really weird, and I cant get back from that point, I have to hit the restart button.
