Bruce Wang
My baby girl likes to play with my computer. Just now I found the Applications Folder has been moved to the Root, how can it be moved back to where it should be? Thanks in advance. hecker
Hrm? The Applications folder BELONGS in Root. Unless you mean your own Applications Folder, which belongs in /Users/<your_user_name>/ If you mean the Applications Icon from the Finder side bar, then all you have to do is drag the Applications folder back in there to recreate it. Bruce Wang
The Applications Folder should be ~/Applications, but now it's /Applications... the entire Applications folder is now at root directory. How to move it back to ~/Applications? Headrush69
Like Hector said, /Applications IS the right location. Although you can install some apps into ~/Applications, not many do. Seeing as your folder has 48 items, my guess is that is your /Applications folder.
