Chrysaor Posted June 26, 2008 Share Posted June 26, 2008 If you trimmed your Office 2008 (stripped PPC code, removed language files etc) or moved/renamed them, update will fail. If installation is trimmed, either you need to reinstall then update from scratch (official Microsoft way), or open the mpkg and find the script that performs the checksum, comment out those lines and it will install fine (I don't remember the exact name of the script, but it worked for me). If you moved/renamed them but not trimmed, just move them back to their default locations.
