I have a small stain on the outside of my macbook (white)

I tried to wipe it off with water, didn't come off.

I tried to use Clorox, it has bleach in it but it is not all bleach.

Did I damage the computer by using bleach? It doesn't seem like I lost any of the shine on the plastic or anything so I think it is okay but some people say not to use it. But it doesn't seem like bleach would eat plastic.

Anyway, is a 50/50 solution of isopropyl / water safe to use on the outside?

What about mr. clean magic eraser, I have heard about people using them on the inside of the computer

Try a strong solution of Oxyclean. Soak a soft cloth with it, wring out most of the excess, and let the damp cloth sit on the stain for a few hours. Oxyclean is pretty benign stuff, but it works wonders. Never used it on macbook case, but it did wonders getting beet stains off of my plastic counter top. :)

Chlorine is quite a strong oxidizer even in the weak solutions in household bleach. It attacks plastic resins quite readily. It probably didn't hurt your case if it didn't sit on it for long, but I wouldn't use it on it again. If you want to make sure all of it is gone (incase some soaked into any micro fractures in the plastic) sit you laptop in a sunny spot for a few hours. The UV should break down any of the remaining chlorine molecules.

It sat on it for at most a few minutes, I'm positive it was less than 5, probably about 1-3 minutes

So am I alright? The plastic is still shiny and it seems to look/feel the same as the rest of the case where I didn't use it. I obviously wont try it again but I hope I am ok

Lesson 1 in the Macbook cleaning manual: DO NOT USE SOLVENT on your awesome computer...

EG: my dad had a "sticky, sticker substance" on his brand new macbook, he pulled it out of the box and it had it, SO his dumbass went and got some solvent, which IDK why he didnt know, but it ate the {censored} out of the back of his macbook, which is now covered by a sticker. so what did we learn kids, window cleaner is awesome
