AlanD
Obviously this is interesting. Tried searching all forums "Snow Leopard install" but missed any directly relevant posts - there must be some? Found warnings not to post in Snow Leopard forum, implying posts exist. Please update me if you have a relevant forum reference. Anyway, downloaded "leaked" Developer Preview, tried usual vanilla install method and replaced normal incompatible kexts. Got kernel panic (actually a "double panic") about invalid kernel. Other experiences? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/112146-snow-leopard-and-server-on-hackintosh/ Share on other sites
Mysticus C*
this kind of beta/etc is discussed in irc channels... no point of speculating when it is not even a beta, it is just a preview and main one will be one year from now, so go to irc and ask about it there,... Graebags
Yes AlanD I have the same experiences, both booting Sno, and searching forums. Please pm me if you find anything, and I'll do likewise. There should be plenty of discussion/questions flying round shortly, assuming the numbers downloading don't all have Mac hardware and a welcome to the OSX SnowLeopard sub-forum. You're a little late - Apple already HAS switched to Intel, as of 2006 - 3 years ago!
