dewdoobrown
I had to copy my config files to the pc running osx. I have g5 w/doom3 set and I copied the config files over and I was able to run doom 3 on my pc running os x. I believe I had to hold down the (shift key?). then choose my resolution for my monitor. I hope this helps. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11060-doom-3/#findComment-108164 Share on other sites
tenshin2002
I think that its not working because you dont have SSE3. The same thing happens to me to in Quake 4, i even use the supposed UB crack by Blade. If i select the app to start using rosetta it works, but very slow. G_G
At least you can play with it, i can't make it start, it bounce a while a then quit without an error or anything This is your problem: Intel Pentium IV 2.8 GHz (Prescott), ASRock P4VM800, 1 Gb RAM, Hitachi DeskStar 7K250 80 Gb ATA, OnBoard Rhine II Network Card, Realtek Compatible LANPRO Network Card, Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 1.0A, ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256 Mb RAM QE/CI enable, OnBoard AC'97 Audio Card, Samsung CD/DVD Writer SH-W162D, OSx86 10.4.5. All Working Perfectly So in other words, not "all working perfectly". I have an x700, so Doom3 doesn't start either. I take it out, and Doom3 runs perfectly. Well, not really. The onboard ALC850 doesn't work, so I had to get a USB audio card. G_G
Yes I know. Same thing here. It's likely to do with resolution switching. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11060-doom-3/#findComment-110086 Share on other sites
