Ouch Posted March 5, 2006 Share Posted March 5, 2006 A universal flash player is supplied with 10.4.5, if you overwrite it with a downloaded version from macromedia the plugin will be replaced by a powerpc version that will not work with universal browsers. You should restore flash player.plugin to /Library/Internet Plugins using the install disk and pacifiest. Alternatively you can enable rosetta emulation on the browsers and they will work with the powerpc player - but they will be pretty slow.
