I got a good install from leo4all v3 (gfx driver, audio all workig good) but my internet isn't working!! I have a nivdia nforce networking controller and ethernet is Ethernet 10/100BT integrated network interface. [built in on Asus motherboard]

The werid thing is I installed all the networking drivers from a pack and it has my ethernet in system prefernces as Firewire. Is thier any driver for my ethernet?

(Also have the Westell 6100 I tried with usb but thinks its a dial up modem)

bumping probably isn't going to help... Neither is not getting the information when someone asks "Well what onboard LAN is it? (Or if you don't know, what is the MoBo model?)"

Onboard LAN support is chipset specific. If no one knows EXACTLY what chipset you're using - no one is going to be able to help.

I'm going to take a stab at this one since there are 5,000 posts in these Forums about the stinking "nForce LAN (and/or "Networking Controller")" problem (ya, the SEARCH function does work)...

Read about how hundreds of people struggle with various .kexts trying to get the thing working (they're usually talking about the infamous Realtek RTL8201 PHY) - OR - disable the damn thing in the BIOS and buy a cheap PCI LAN card (NIC) that's actually SUPPORTED by OSX (try a card with a RTL8139 (10/100) or RTL8169 (gigabit) chipset - they usually work...)...

Wow, you really tore him a new one :P

If you have Windows of some variety installed, use PC Wizard (or something similar.... google it) to find out what chipset or mobo. When you get all that good info... PUT IT IN YOUR SIGNATURE!

Also, screw onboard LAN anyway. At one point I got mine working, but forgot what I did, so I use a PCI card. The Intel Pro/100 works out of box for me and everyone else.
