shavex
Ok so I put needed to make a SL-DVD of leopard, but I made it in Leopard and burned it onto a DVD in leopard... before i learned that Leopard messes up the burning process... i put that SL-DVD into a Macbook to upgrade it, and im guessing cuz the DVD wasnt burned right that it wont go through the install process, its stuck at the Apple with swirl. My question is, how do i get the DVD out?! cuz it wont start back into Tiger cuz it still wants to boot from the disc!!!actually nevermind, i just found out you hold the mouse click down when you start up... GigaCorp
You should be able to remove the DVD right when the computer boots up, like before anything has been loaded yet. iScott
Is this the retail DVD, or is it a DVD that came with a system? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/109468-how-do-i-remove-the-dvd/#findComment-776445 Share on other sites
iPirate
The *real* Leopard DVD is Dual-Layer. I do not believe that you can get away with a Single-Layer version unless you're trying to install OSX86. Even then you won't get away with it that easily - I hear it doesn't work on Macs Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/109468-how-do-i-remove-the-dvd/#findComment-776563 Share on other sites
