But all these components are new (the video card was purchased and installed 2 weeks ago) and have nothing wrong with them. ~pcwiz
This my friends is one of the best deals I've seen. A C2D System wtih GMA3100, 7600GT, 2 GB RAM, 400GB HD, and dual TV tuners? I think you could get MUCH more than $550 for this awesome machine.

jymboche
Wow... my tail just wagged with a little excitement from the last two comments. Admittedly, I do have a couple hundred dollars more in this than what I am asking. I built the computer a while back trying to pick components out that would work with osx, only to realize that GMA3100 was not the same as x3100. With that said, I picked a 7600gt BY NVIDIA to make the system complete. I dual booted Ubuntu, and the system works awesome with compiz fusion, with the tuners working well in Mythtv, making for a great media-center. Unfortunately, my school requires i study abroad for my major and this fall semester was the only feasible time. I know China isn't that expensive, but I desperately need some cash. --> Paypal is the only trustworthy method i can think to sell it. I Will be listing this on Ebay Sunday June 8th. Check my feedback: russell3901..... 100% positive. My loss is your gain! -thanks
~pcwiz
Whatever you do, make sure you raise it up to $800-$900, because that's what IMHO this machine is worth. If no one buys it then, drop it to $600 or $700. At the current price of $550 you (the seller) are being completely ripped off.

Well, Since you are the "pcwiz" I'm taking your advice and raising the price . We'll see how the interest is though. BTW what are shipping rates for a tower? Like $50? ~pcwiz
Depends where its shipping from and to. Weigh the tower and use your local postal service's online calculator to calculate the cost.
Andy Machead
I dunno. I see a barebone system with a Core 2 Quad going for $480 and all that needs is optical drive, heat-sink, graphics card, and some small dollar parts. If it was a Quad id jump on it, sorry jymboche. ~pcwiz
You have to consider that its a C2D E6750 Conroe, which is generally high end, close to the C2D E8000 Wolfdale. The clock speed of the E6750 is 2.66GHz, faster than the C2Q Q6600 in clock speed, just not in cores. I still consider it a fantastic deal.
