Don't worry you're not the only one with problems. I'm trying to install Leopard on my Compaq with an AMD Sempron 3300+ processor. I have had no luck with Kalyway. I'm downloading Zephyroth 10.5.2 right now as I type this. I Hope this works. If not if I will be mad . . .

debu sagii.... its not emcee but emSee... Anyway I aint botherd with this no more i've given up on the kalyway release, to be honest with you its been like that with most releases, Leo4all v3 same thing just restarts and even zephyroyths 10.5.2 AMD release....

At the moment im downloading zephyroyth's 10.5.1 because ALL THESE RELEASES are not working with my AMD PHENOM processor and it is a well known problem, but NO 1 HERE has mentioned it, probably because no one here really has the time anymore... want a better forum go here: http://forum.osx86scene.com/ I only posted twice on my problem in the topic and someone gave me the right advice straight away but still gonna have to see if zeph's 10.5.1 works.... on this I had to post how many times to even get someone's attention!

sorry that i dont answered you but the search of this forum sucks hardly...

i searched with google this forum with the following command: phenom site:insanelymac.com

and i found this post from you

i have extactly the same problem as you http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=108505

nobody is answering the forum must be dead :P .

no release seems to work because all have efi....

exept zepyroths 10.5.1 can work on some mashines with amd sb600 chipset

for me it didnt work becouse of my motherboard i have an sb700 chipset damn me *grrrrr*

zephs release 10.5.1 has no efi installed thats becouse it installs for some mashines properly

maybe yours too....

but for me i get a reboots right after it loads the darwin kernel with

BSD root: disk0s3, major14, minor 2

syncing disks... killing all processes and then reboot.

this is the farest i could go...... all other releases right after i type enter to boot to darwin imidiently it reboots

try this to update to 10.5.2 if 10.5.1 works for you......http://forum.infinitemac.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=978&page=1

leo4all will work with phenoms in the v4 release

zephyrot is trying something out too

and kalyway just sucks

please give me an feedback if you did it right ok?

Yup ive finally got Leopard installed :D

I did it by download Zephyroyth's 10.5.1 build and at first it didnt work properly but i did get a fix... check it at this forum, which i was also seeking help from.. a person called 'realityiswhere' helped quite a lot! and im just downloading 10.5.2 update for AMD by eddie11d from tpb... slowww speeeddd so don't know when it'l finish!

hope it helps anyone else with the same problem!

Read through it most of the post's are my problems while installing it but i fixed it by formatting the partition again and using the zeph's 10.5.1 to format it again and installing after reboot, didn't press anything and it finished off installation and worked!

:) I have the same problem. P4 1.6 GHz with ASCROCK P4I45GV motherboard, IDE DVD R/W, SAMSUNG 80 GB IDE Harddisk.

I think the problem is due to some unsupported hardware and possibly it is the IDE HDD or IDE DVD ROM. I have successfully installed and run Mac OS X Tiger on same machine. May be it is some system bus or something like this in the motherboard also. It would be appreciated if some one look the hardware of mine and other people with the problem and figure out the unsupported hardware.
