ffinder
Dear All, Since iMovie was crashing upon starting it i went to http://www.apple.com/support/ to upgrade it. So i downloaded upgrades for quicktime 7.5 (needed for other updates to work) iDVD and iMovie (crashes on startup) all updates installed OK but upon installing iMovie update it gives the following message and stops the upgrade installation: "An Eligible application was not found in the location / Applications" Yet in the root drive/Applications there is iMovie Application 117.4 MB Is it the correct size/checksum anybody? Is it corrupted? Did i installed a corrupted iLife? Any help will be greatly appreciated! FF. ffinder
iMovie now works! Manually downloading the iMovie update from http://www.apple.com/support/ failed, so.. All i did was to initiate update from system preferences > software update > check now and choose only the iMovie related updates somehow doing so worked! FF. sts01
I had the same issue. Using Pacifist to install imovie 7.1.4 ended up fixing it for me. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/107878-imovie-doesnt-work/#findComment-841109 Share on other sites
3Dman
Apple was too fast releasing iLife '80, They should waited for leopard to be compatible with it. I've downloaded 370 MB iLife '08 updates to make it fully work in Leopard Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/107878-imovie-doesnt-work/#findComment-841158 Share on other sites
