bottleNeckKiller
OK If you were using Maxxuss instruction there is a line of code that will get exactly the problem that you are getting. executie12
I have the same problem too. I've searched on the forum and can't seem to find the answer. Tried using the Darwin boot cd and changing the MBR, and that wouldn't work either. cybergamer
Are you trying to tell us to bless the install? If so, that's kinda hard when you dont have a 10.4.3 install and cant get a darwin CD to boot without explosions. Are you trying to tell us to bless the install? curlyboy
You just need to run your 10.4.3 install disc then goto startup disk and select the 10.4.4 drive as boot then restart in single user mode and repair your permission Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10372-pc-wont-boot-after-successful-install/#findComment-64930 Share on other sites

esc2
Did you try "Platform=PCx86" at boot promt? I tried a lot of options but not that one. I have used "Platform=X86PC" . Did you try "Platform=PCx86" at boot promt? I tried a lot of options but not that one. I have used "Platform=X86PC" . Personally, I'm partial to malformed options. I have used option strings like -x -v -optimize (optimize is not a documented option) and it has caused osx to go into a diagnostic mode where it checks disks, catalogs ... and ends up by booting.
