bob92
I have a leopard 10.5.2 hackintosh on my Dell XPS400 Machine. I recently installed ilife and was disappointed that iWeb did not work. When I start it, the window shows up but everything is unclickable and grayed out including all the menu bar buttons. The app just stays like that not completely frozen but I can't click anything and file menu buttons like new, save, open are all grayed out. PS I have all the updates installed on my PC. Is this a common problem or just me can anyone help, thanks in advance. I also have a second question: Is is possible to install the leopard graphics update and still not screw up my hackintosh? Thanks. I know there was a hacked update to 10.5.2 specifically for hackintosh and was wondering if there was anything similar for the leopard graphics update. Software Updater
How about some specs? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/102302-iweb-not-working-on-leopard/#findComment-730114 Share on other sites
themanis
Apparently i never had a problem with iWeb 08, only iMovie wasn't working but after i installed the update for it, worked perfectly. Give us a quick run through the OSX86 build you're using and the PC specs. cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/102302-iweb-not-working-on-leopard/#findComment-730138 Share on other sites

E-werd
Did you check to see if maybe there is a window behind it, like a notice of some type from the program? Try moving the window around and looking. Do you get the wizard to select a page? Or is it such that, as soon as you start the program, it goes straight to there and nothing else? I don't have an issue, running on a Gateway MT6705 with Leo4Allv3. I have an intel processor--is yours AMD? I don't suppose theres binary incompatibility there--can somebody with an AMD processor confirm its not that? Thats the best I can do. I don't know what you're getting when you start the program, if anything. Have you ever gotten any settings or anything like that? Perhaps your accidentally disabled something? Did it work before the updates? Need more information. bob92
I have an intel pentium D, but however, have no quartz extreme. There is no window behind it and others have had the same problem example: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry741911 Also I have already used iATKOS and same problem and now I'm using Kalaway 10.5.2 with all updates ( but it still did not work without updates) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/102302-iweb-not-working-on-leopard/#findComment-742089 Share on other sites
~pcwiz
Without Quartz Extreme most apps don't function properly so thats your problem right there. But also, sometimes you need to apply the iWork updates from Apple Software Update for the programs to work properly with Leo. bob92
I have an ati radeon x300 graphics card, so is there any way to enable quartz extreme? ~pcwiz
From everything I've heard, QE doesn't work with the X300. Get a cheap PCIe card, you can pick one up for real cheap.
