giggleface
Hi there! I follow the instructions to install 10.4.4 successfully but I cannot boot without the DVD or, now, worse, my 10.4.3 installation boots into the 10.4.4 installation. I used many partition tools (Acronis, Hiren's Boot CD) to change the active partitions (Windows on Partition 1, Mac on Partition 2) but the Mac partition won't boot (invalid OS). No blinking cursor... just invalid... so I believe there's no Darwin Bootloader in the beginning of the Partition 2 boot area. Is there a way to repair the Bootloader with a command or something? sudo bless ain't working and the fdisk within single user mode (boot from DVD) ain't working either... pls help and thanks! the_painless
I have a similar problem. I installed 10.4.4 from my working 10.4.3 Installation but i can't boot into 10.4.4 To boot the 10.4.3 System you just have to start up with the 10.4.3-Install DVD and use the "Startup-disc"-tool, you can choose wich System should be loaded at startup. OK, so i can still boot 10.4.3, but i can't boot 10.4.4 - i just get a blinking cursor on the left upper corner!? Anyone knows how to fix that!?
