    Dell optiplex 755 Maverick's install

Yeah, it works! thanks so much craigwn!
  2. Did anyone get the internal network card working unter 10.9? Installed 10.9 with myHack method, everything else works (using craigwns method, reverted only IOPCIFamily.kext, see http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293434-dell-optiplex-755-mavericks-install/?p=1962072) I did try AppleIntelE1000e.kext, followed ila225s suggestion from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/205771-appleintele1000ekext-for-108107106105/?p=1964596 - but no luck there. I never had a problem using the internal networking before on that machine (I've been using it as a hackintosh since 10.5...) Maybe the IOPCIFamily revert is the problem? [EDIT] I got it working, using http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293434-dell-optiplex-755-mavericks-install/?p=1976208 I'm still going to leave this post, in case someone has the same problem...

    Dell optiplex 755 Maverick's install

say flava, did you do anything special to get the internal network working? On 10.8.4 I had it working perfectly, but I'm now trying for hours to get the damn network going. I tried using AppleIntelE1000e.kext and Intel82566MM.kext, no luck. Everything else is working, even Standby (never had that working since 10.5...).

    Lion DP4 + NVIDIA GTS 450

Tried the CUDA drivers, didn't help. Did you use any EFI Injections?

    Lion DP4 + NVIDIA GTS 450

I installed DP4 an my Dell Optiplexx 755 yesterday, must things work fine. The only thing I can't fix is the following: The Nvidia kexts for my GTS 450 (dev id 0dc4) are loaded, but the card isn't recognized in System Profiler. The following kexts are loaded at the moment: com.apple.driver.AppleEFINVRAM (1.5.0) com.apple.NVDAResman (7.0.0) com.apple.nvidia.nvGF100hal (7.0.0) The bootlog doesn't show anything Nvidia related, except "kernel: NVDAGF100HAL loaded and registered." Here's the boot log: http://pastebin.com/WCUWP9aX Any ideas?
  6. hi guys, as project camphor seems to finally support iw3945 I wanted to give it a try - but there's one problem: I can't turn on the wifi card! Not only i can't turn on the wifi, I'm also unable to turn on the build in UMTS modem, the webcam or the bluetooth chip. that's why I think its a problem with the keyboard - OS X just doesn't seem to understand what to do when I press e.g. FN + F1... Here are the specs: Laptop ECS G10IL (Sometimes known as Q10 Air) Intel Core solo OS X 10.5.7 Using Voodoo PS/2 Does anyone know a solution?
