sulfo
i guess the "compatible to pc" is to imply that it runs windows... [OT]you know what i think is ironic at the moment: first we tried hard to get osx on our pcs. mo we try hard to get win xp to run on our macs... kinda weird....[/OT]

jbjonas
Ha Ha, next you'll see one of those stupid ads for a free iPod, saying that it is "OS X x86 compatible" Maybe now that there are more than 20,000 of us on here, the developers will need to take OSx86 seriously enough to test how apple peripherals connect to x86 hardware... Metrogirl
Compatible is a word which is very much abused! I saw some computer speakers in a store recently with the logo "MP3 Compatible!" emblazoned on the box. They were ordinary speakers. Of course they're f***ing mp3 compatible - so is every other speaker you can buy. I wonder how many parents bought them because they know their kids listen to MP3s and think that the other speakers won't do? Advertising which plays on people's ignorance makes me very annoyed. Mac OSX Coder
It's just a bunch of people wanting to make money off people. They don't care if it's a PC or Mac. They want your Moolah! Of course it's PC compatible! You could hook it up to one couldn't you? Of course it wouldn't 100% talk to each other.. but you could hook it up.... okay. Mactel4SSE2
Speaking of compatible... we have this hideous pile of {censored} from KLH at work. Supposed to be a "Simple Home theater", 2 atrocious speakers and a rattly subwoofer (for only $214) and supports Dolby Digital (atleast AFTER it's converted to analog) Supposively an "Aux in" makes ANYTHING Ipod compatible (as it is advertised on a 6" starburst on the side of the box) And the post count slowly climbs...
