zeg66
I googled for a DSDT editor (just to get an idea) and downloaded MaciASL.app from sourceforge but when I try to start it I get an error, maybe it doesn't work in Sierra? Is it possible to use a PS2 keyboard in this 10.12.3 computer?

zeg66
Thank you I will try them a little bit later. Meanwhile could you please answer these questions: a. If I put an SSD in the macpro3,1 (2xE5462 cpu's)-10.11.6, will it be faster than "our" i3-6100-sierra or slower? (ssd's are expensive too...) b. if I upgrade the i3 10.12.3 to 10.12.4 how much "damage" will there be to all the work you did yesterday? :-)
MaLd0n
macpro3,1 dont have sata 3, only sata 2 but with ssd fast as usual, sata 2 or 3 go to 10.12.4

zeg66
Yes that works! What do you suggest we do about the sleep problem? ok I am PISSED now: the macpro running original elcap 10.11.6 received some upgrades and apparently the upgrades DELETED all files and utilities you had sent me. My "Downloads" folder is empty! Is that even possible? Have you ever heard of that before or am I crazy? (it's a good thing I have everything backed up here on the i3 sierra)
