Hi :)

i am running (well trying to run) 10.10 Yosemite on my think pad,

i have clover installed but it does not boot from that clover,

i have a install USB that has a custom clover on it and she will boot from that!

i have attached a IOReg file and an extracted DSDT in the hope that someone here can help me!

at present when it does boot i have limited graphics (4MB) and no HDMI

any help most welcome!!! :)

i will do my best to answer any questions!

thanks in advance!!

Post your hardware specs.

Sorry, i thought the IOReg file was the best way to do that!

according to Windows its:

CPU= i3-3110M @2.40GHz

RAM=8GB

Graphics=Intel HD Graphics 4000

LCD=1366x768

Hope that is of some use?

good hack

Hi,

Thanks! i am quite novice in Clover but i did try (Options/DSDT fix mask/ [then unchecked all the options in there] to "disable any clover dsdt fix") not sure if that was right?

with this dsdt in the patched folder i get a BSD hang (i have attached my clover config.plist and a high rez pick the the hang information

i tried also removing the boot flags kext-dev-mode=1 & Rootless=0

any help most welcome!!

hello

man where u get that config ?

attachicon.gifconfig.plist.zip

try with this one and give a very hard read here ..

https://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration#Config.plist-structure

only insert in efi/clover/acpi/patched ur patched dsdt .. not more files

good hack

Hi,

that was just there like that from the clover install?

with this updated config.plist it does not crash on boot, it gets to the part where the GUI normally loads and just waits there?

i have attached a high rez pic again.

any tips at this stage?

could it be EDID related maybe? i have tried booting with hdmi attached!

thank you for your time and help

Hi,

in graphic injector menu in options fake ID was set to 0x0000000

i have tried messing with that (0x01660001,2,3,4,5) with no luck!

i did try editing the actual config.plist but i could not find "ig-platform-id" or even "0x0166"

any tips?

thanks for all the help! :)
