RCOO
I've managed to install and get running OS X 10.11. I've still got the following problems however: - Sound only works after reverting to patched AppleHDA of 10.10.3 (bcc9's script won't work on 10.11 applehda); - Can't connect anything to my USB 3.0 port, since the system won't boot if anything is attached and crashes if I attach something while it runs (previously I used GenericUSBXHCI.kext, which now causes KP). Anyone found a workaround for the specified problems? Thanks

RCOO
Don't you have any USB2.0 ports? If you do try using them, leaving any USB3.0 ports free. Or disabling USB3.0 in the bios.
Laavuska
Yep, same problem here. USB 3.0 is giving grief. I have to disable from the bios.

Graebags
I don't really see the usb 3 issue being a boot stopper in itself, unless your trying to install on a usb 3 drive? I'd suspect another underlying problem causing it to fail to boot.

t65902
Can't you disable USB 3.0 in the bios? nope my crappy bios doesnt have that option. I don't really see the usb 3 issue being a boot stopper in itself, unless your trying to install on a usb 3 drive? I'd suspect another underlying problem causing it to fail to boot. my error is still waiting for root device. so its usb3, this isnt the first time we are doing this dance. it was previously sorted by the genusb3 kext by rehabman but as i heard apple tinkered with usb drivers so it broke in 10.11. Thanks USB 3.0 Is still have issue only Intel Chipset works i guess So still there is no success on GenericUSBXHCI and Patched AppleUSBXHCI .with those kext kernel panic is occur in my case and remaining about BCC9's Script works for me......the script is updated did you try with updated script see here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298027-guide-aio-guides-for-hackintosh/?p=2030060
RCOO
Try the applehda patch script I just updated in bcc9's thread. Do you have any idea on why DummyHDA could be getting "rejected" on El Capitan PB1? I've got the binary patches on Clover (so binary is vanilla on AppleHDA) but I have to perform the DummyHDA changes on AppleHDA kext and remove DummyHDA for the sound to be enabled. If DummyHDA is so much as present in S/L/E I loose sound.
