brunjick
Hi there I made a clean install of Yosemite with Yosemite Zone DMG, and my problem is non working usb devices (1x3.0 & 2x2.0). Things like USB mouse and keyboard does work, but USB flash drives doesn't. On Mavericks it worked perfectly. My specs: Acer E1-570G CPU: Intel i3-3217U Graphics: Intel HD4000 Chipset: Intel HM77 Using UEFI & GPT, with Clover Bootloader What I've tried: RehabMan's DSDT patch for usb 7 series Booted from clover installed on USB device with Yosemite Zone, which successfully booted installer with working USB ports Boot flags: darts=0 PCIRootUID=1 USBBusFix=Yes ... No success yet Strange thing happening: I've triple boot Linux/Windows/Mac. When I boot into Windows, then restart and boot into Yosemite, somehow USB devices got recognized. After restart again it doesnt work. Attached both IORegistryExplorer logs (working and nonworking) and Clover configuration IOREG.zip config.plist.zip

Allan
Ok. Yes this kext is for USB3, but this flag: -gux_defer_usb2 -gux_no_idle solve your problem. Try this: config.plist.zip
brunjick
Sorry, but it doesn't work. I made Chimera bootloader USB and booted from there, and voila USB worked, but I need Clover :/ I guess it is Clover related problem, or at least configuration. I've latest 3128 version

Allan
Try add a USB3/USB2 patch in your DSDT. See this: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298027-guide-aio-guides-for-hackintosh/?p=2027276 Try use: http://raw.github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/master Within this pack contains the patch needed for your Laptop. brunjick
I disabled XHCI in bios and it works now, But no 3.0 support
Allan
XHCI is the USB 3.0...if you disable, have not USB3! Try use PXHCD.kext, delete the GenericUSBXHCI, and install PXHCD, repair the permissions - rebuild the disk cache and restart.

I was intalling GenericUSBXHCI with KextWizard, once tried with KextUtility and it worked. Thank you for your help
