I've copy the new generic into /kexts/10.10/ and also change the FakeID <XHCI> to 0x0c033000 but they don't help. Need to use some kind one method. Generic.kext or FakeID. Si Vis Pacem Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 Heya guys, these steps worked for me sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/GenericUSBXHCI.kext sudo touch /System/Library followed by a reboot. If you reboot immediately it will take some time because it will still be rebuilding the cache.
