dreadkopp
aloha guys. i hope this is the right section, since i am a new user i want to install OSX on my AMD PC. since i am a poor student i cannot afford a shiny new intel system :/ Specs are: plenty of HDDs, which are all plugged out except the one i try to install OSX CPU: Phenom II X4 945 GPU: Nvidia GTX 460 SE MOBO: ASUS M4a88t-m/USB3 chipset: AMD 880G southbridge: AMD SB 700 10 Gigs of DDR3 RAM within windows i managed to run a virtual 10.8.3 in VMware Workstation 10. (it's a pre-edited amd-friendly version with bad bad origin with this virtual osx i downloaded mavericks via the AppStore. I used myHack to create a USB-Installer, replaced the mach_kernel in the root-dir of the stick with this one: http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3726-kernel-os-x-mavericks-1091-amd/ I thought to be able to install now. Bios Settings are: Virtualization: ON C1E-state: ON SATA->AHCI but I cannot reach the installer. bootflags i tried: -v -x cpus=1 busratio=15 pci=no npci=0x3000 npci=0x2000 pci=noacpi GraphicsEnabler=Yes GraphicsEnabler=N0 -legacy mach_kernel /mach_kernel ...am i missing one? i don't know. I tried the above flags in nearly every possible combination. point is: I don't get any further than IOAPIC: Verison 0x21 .... when hitting a button it halts again at [ PCI configuration begin ] when i don't use the npci-flags otherwise it continues until com.apple.AppleFScompressionTypeZlib load succeeded Where is the poblem? Or is my Hardware just total {censored}? I really really hope you guys can help me. I am messing around with this for the last 2 days. Greetings and Thanks
spakk
Edit:please excuse me for my description that I have previously made with my mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I have CORRECTED my mistakes. For more Info look here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/forum/318-amd-development/...and here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/285110-amd-working-builds/ First of all set Bios Settings correctly!!! boots the hackintosh and go into BIOS, activate the default settings and save and restart your PC! then, go again into BIOS and make the following changes: Intelligent Tweaker (M.I.T.) : Leave everything on default! Standard CMOS Features: placed the USB HDD or your USB Stick in the first position, it should be otherwise, then turn off the computer and put the SATA cable to the correct position. DVD drive can also be placed in front of the HFS+ HDD (there are no error messages when booting). The other HDD's need to be placed on the other positions, otherwise, an error message occurs when booting -> AppleUSBOHCI ... still waiting for root device. Advanced BIOS Features: AMD C1E [Disabled] !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Virtualization [Enabled] AMD 8 Col & Q. [Auto] or Enabled Hard Disk Boot Priority : the OS X USB Install HDD or USB Install Stick must be positioned in the first place ( For example, with my Gigabyte board with 6 x SATA connectors on my board. For these boards the BIOS Setup offers under "Integrated Peripherals" option, only to have one section of the SATA ports in AHCI mode. Set "OnChip SATA Type" to "AHCI", "OnChip SATA Port4 / 5 Type" contrast to "IDE" and append the SATA drive with the OS on the SATA port 4 or 5 on the motherboard. ) Integrated Peripherals: On Chip SATA Controller [Enabled] On Chip SATA Type [AHCI] On Chip SATA 3.0 [Enabled] F_USB30 Controller [Enabled] SATA3 Controller [Enabled] SATA3 Ctrl Mode [AHCI] ON Board 1394 Function [Disabled] if it Enabled then error message comes : .... waiting for root device , the rest remains unchanged! ( This setting is only for the first installation very important when you have all the drivers installed, then you can use this setting to enabled!!!! ) Second: boot with USB Install Stick with this flag: -v -f npci=0x2000 PCIROOTUID=0 GraphicsEnabler=No or try with these flags( npci=0x3000 PCIROOTUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=yes ) Good Luck!
