It appears that I can't type square brackets (the ones used in BBCode) from my French Canadian keyboard layout. Tried different "macs" and Windows PC's, same thing - Alt + ^, which everywhere else results in a bracket, results in nothing happening. Could a staff member please have a look at this? Thanks!

I can type them simply from the keyboard of a MacBook Pro.
Also tried with an external wireless PC keyboard. No problem there either.

ARe you sure you have the right keyboard layout? The one i am using is http://matthieu.yipt...t-for-mac-os-x/ and by option + ^, I mean option plus where ^ is on my keyboard. That's be option + left bracket on the standard apple keyboard once set to the above layout.
