What do you mean "how do I post links"?
Click edit, then click the button that says "Use Full Editor" to upload files. DSDT must be zipped.
DSDT overriding is pointless If you haven't made any changes to your DSDT (not counting fixing compiling errors). All you are doing is overriding your DSDT with the same DSDT - nothing changes.
I doubt DSDT is the right place to fix your black screen issue.
What CPU do you have, what video card? What's your install method?

I'm sorry about the caps. here my dsdt files
1st dsdt file i get video but no firewire
2. dsdt file i get black screen i don't know where I'm going wrong
I'm using dsdt editor but I'm still noobie at dsdt editing I don't know what I'm doing
core2quad q6600 2.4 ghz nvidia 8800 gt 512 mb I'm using the 3.12 ihack usb installer i can install 10.8 successful but when i update to 10.8.1 i get black screen the only way to picture on the screen if i put the yes video dsdt in my extra folder

new dsdt.aml file video working with grapgicsenabler=yes flag on mountain lion 10.8.1 im still making more corrections any help would be appreciated

What is it that your trying to accomplish by patching DSDT? Firewire? ML already installed? So far it just looks like difference between GE=Yes and GE=No unless you added GPU injection to DSDT?

Thy this, remove any NullCPUPowermanagement.kext and enable speedstep in BIOS.

give this a try with it. Updated IOPCIFamily for Mountain Lion also make sure recent fakesmc installed

for clean unpatched DSDT, use windows to extract it and upload. For lspci, download from link above, double click to install, then copy/paste terminal command from above and the results will be in a text file on your desktop so you can upload that too.
