Hi Guys,

I have a little problem.
I have a dell inspiron n4050 laptop with following specs

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.1 GHz B950
RAM: 2 GB
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics Family with Max VRam = 783 and id=0x0106

I have tried many different solutions to work graphics card properly on my laptop but in vain.
I am only able to get the desktop view if I delete all AppleIntelHDGraphics* kexts but there is no acceleration at all. Every thing runs very slowly in snow leopard as well as in lion.

Does anybody how to make it work and enable qe/ci?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Nobody wants to solve this mystery, the hackers with the knowledge doesn't want to help us, we're a lot of people with this card... :(

Do note that you have a Intel HD 3000 card. Not a Intel HD Graphics GMA 5700 card. Many tuts around for HD 3000.

No, it's not Intel HD 3000. It's simple Intel HD Graphics. I have confirmed that through multiple sources.

0x01068086 is an Intel HD2000 IGPU sandydybrige H70Chpiset b890 dual core 2.4 Ghz Intel Cpu.

I have it recognized correctly in Mavericks DP6 on my laptop Lenovo B590 with just 64MB Vram.

The only two great problems are:

No DVDplayer recognized error -70017 and no you tube video watching.

In any case QE working is only if DVDplayer and IMovie starts if not there's no QE. Everything reported on this forum is not true.

In any case the amount of vram in 2nd and 3rd generation Intel HD is different. In ML 10.8.4 om my mac mini (HD4000) i have just 768mb Vram on mavericks 1024..MB.. :) :) :) :) :)
