First, the CUDA drivers is independed from OpenGL driver speeds , so performance effect (if is) is ONLY running CUDA powered Apps.
For me CUDA speeds mostly didnt change between CUDA versions - but i have an older card.
Like OPenCL speed diffs (running CUDA Apps!!) may occur more with newest GPUs - also bug fixes working here.

No, it is for all Nvidia 8xxx up - doesnt matter which gpu type above(=later) 8xxx, also doent matter Mobile or not if GPU is newer than 8XXX.
