Hi,
I have an Acer TravelMate 2490 on 10.5.7 (installed via iAtkos V7) and it is working (almost perfectly, which I've achieved through very hard work). I want to update to 10.5.8 in order to be able to sync my iPhone 4s. So what is the basic process? Do I have to back up all the 10.5.7 kexts and install them again afterwards? Please be patient, as I haven't done any update so far on my hackintoshes.

Oldish thread, but I have just updated as per this question. iATKOS V7 then downloaded 10.5.8 from Mac and installed . The only fix required was to run kext utility and then repair permissions.( Lan had stopped working ).
