  1. Hello guys, I have installed the iAtkos ML2 tomorrow. The problem is that I can only boot with the commands ''-v -x PCIRootUid=0 GraphicsEnabler=no'', if I don't use this commands, I get stuck in the white apple logo forever. I think this is a problem with the kexts, so, I am sending my config for you, Motherboard - Gigabyte B75M-D3H\ VGA - NVidia GTX 660 Ti Power Edition 2GB Processor - Intel i5 3470 - 3.2GHz HD - HDD SATA - 1tb (partitioned, so I am using 500GB for MAC and 500GB for Windows) Thanks!
  2. Hi, I tried to install iATKOS S3 V2 on my old Acer Extensa 4620 (not 4620z). The installation worked (though I had to remove the battery), and i could not boot into the OS. So i tried -v -x, and it worked, and I could set it up. But the verbose mode showed a lot of errors about something like AppleUSBUHCI.kext not loading or something. The main issue is that my trackpad isnt working, usb mouse not working, wireless mouse also tried, not working. But the keyboard is working.! Any suggestions on how to get back my mouse(stuck on top left of screen)?? (Last resort, I can install it again, if someone tells me what drivers to enable, because the last install worked on some random selection of drivers) Thanks in advance ---------------------------------- SYSTEM SPECS (if required) [ If any more required, ask) ---------------------------------- Model : Acer Extensa 4620 Processer: Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GHz RAM : 3 GB DDR2 Graphics / Display : Mobile intel 965 express chipset family (I also see X3100 somewhere) BIOS : (Dont know for sure) Phoenix v1.00PARTTBL HDD : 160GB ?? In dxdiag, I found PS/2 devices connected :: HID Keyboard Device Standard PS/2 Keyboard PS/2 Compatible Mouse HID Compliant mouse. And also, my mouse and keyboard both worked DURING the install, but not after it ???? Edit: Reinstalling with the proper drivers might be better, if somebody provides me with a list of drivers
  3. Hi there I'm a newbie on all this concerning to Mac for Intel. Recently I succesfully installed iATKOS ML2 on a PC so I thought there was not issues with the installation on my laptop. I'm installing from a DVD burned with TransMac 10.4. The OS X version: 10.8.2, the iAtkos ML2 version. When the laptop boots, the gray screen appears as normal, but if I press F8 or any key or even if I do nothing, the screen freezes and there's no more activity on disk. I've tried this several times, I checked the BIOS settings and still doesn't work. I used the same DVD on a PC and it works perfectly. My laptop specs (provided by Sony): Sony Vaio SVE14113ELW Intel Core™ i3-2370M, 2.40GHz, Intel® HM76 Express Chipset HDD 320GB 5400 RPM 6 GB DDR3 SDRAM -originally 2, I added 4- Intel HD Graphics 3000 BIOS boot (no UEFI) As a newbie, I don't know when and how to use the boot flags. The goal is to have it working along Windows 8 Pro. Thanks in advance for your help.

    iconia w700

Hi everyone! I´m desperate to get a working osx on my Acre Iconia w700 "laptop". I do not know anyone who owns a mac computer and my computer does not support virtualization so my only alternative is to use iatkos as far as i know. I have tried several guides ( the one on the official iatkos webpage as well as http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/288795-guide-creating-os-x-usb-installer-using-a-windows-pc-only/ from theese forums) i have tried both ml3u and ml2, i have gotten neither to work. The tablet does not have an optical drive so i have to use an usb. I have an usb hub so i can connect 4 usbs even though it only supports 1 usb natively. Using the official iatkos guide i get to the cclover boot menu from which i can try to boot but it doesnt get to the installation procerss but gets stuck at "loading drivers................................" and that only if i use -v -x slider=0 as boot flags. i have tried very many flags. -v -x -f -s slide=0 cpus=1 withkexts graphicsenabler=yes/no ncip=0x3000 / 2000 and others Using the one found on theese forums it gets also to the clover screen but from there i dont even get text, just a black screen. ( the guide says not to change flags but i checked, it has verbose mode on already :/ ) does anyone have any experience with this particular computer or does anyone have any tips? i am completely out of ideas. Its got HD 3000 and i3 2365 and "motherboard chipset Intel HM77 " i have seen videos online of it running osx so i know this must be possible! Thanks you for your time!
  6. Inception After my experience with iAtkos s3 v2 and Acer Aspire One D150 i decided to write a guide can help someone. Hardware Config: This is the hardware configuration of my Acer Aspire One D150-1Bb. It's very important check the components. CPU: Intel Atom N270 @ 1,6Ghz 32-bit RAM: Corsair 2Gb Video: Display Intel 945GSE Wireless: Broadcom4312 Ethernet: Atheros AR8121 Whats is necessary 1. USB Pen 8Gb 2. Ethernet Network 3. An other Hackintosh o Mac 4. Many patience. Pre-Install: Boot from USB After you download the iAtkos s3 v2 (Snow Leopard 10.6.3) ISO you can restore it on USB at least 8Gb. You can do it with another Mac or Hackintosh, or if you have external DvD reader, you can create a DvD to boot. Restore the ISO of iAtkos with Utility Disk and then you must install the bootloader. The only one that works for me it was Chameleon v2 RC4. Pay attention where you install the bootloader! Chameleon 2.0 RC4.zip After that the iAtkos is ready to install. Installation The BIOS Put the USB before start the PC. On Start push F2 to access to BIOS where we need to set the Hard Disk in SATA Mode. So, from "Information" tab slide to "Main" tab and scroll down to "SATA Mode". Set it on "AHCI". After that slide to "Boot" tab and scroll down to USB HDD, pushing F6 take the usb on the first place. Now save all with F10 and Yes. The USB will boot. The Installer I don't write flag on boot for the installation, if you have some problems you can try with verbose (-v). During the installation the trackpad will not work, but the keyboard yes, so you can use a USB Mouse (mine is a wireless mouse, so i suppose they works). With Utility Disk create the partition e go on with the installation. When you select the partition where you want install iAtkos, go on Customization (button on bottom left - I'm Italian, so my label is different). You need to install: Bootloader: Chameleon v2 RC4 (the others bootloader gives to me only problems) Bootloader Options: GraphicsEnabler, USBFix Patches: /Extra directory, fakesmc, Disabler, RTC, Modified Kernels -> Intel Atom, USB, UUID Main Hardware: SATA/IDE: AHCI SATA, Intel SATA/IDE Audio: Voodoo Audio PS/2: Voodoo PS/2 CPU Power Management: select all Laptop Hardware: Battery, Card Reader, TSC Sync VGA: Intel (select the first three voice) Network: Wireless: don't select anything. Bcm4312 card gives to me some problem during the first boot, so we will install it after. Wired: Atheros (Select all) Now you can install iAtkos s3 v2. Post-Install: il primo avvio Try one first boot without flag on boot, if you can't start try with these: -v -f npci=0x2000 arch=i386 cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=No(o Yes) Follow the first boot and the configuration of your account and now download all necessary files for setting up the aspire one, because after that you can have some USB problems. Now reboot. Because the CPU is an Intel Atom we need to use a modified kernel. You can find here ( here the original post) the atom kernel of Snow Leopard 10.6.8 . More or less i followed the post step by step, skipping some step about SL 10.6.7. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT do a backup of the kext IOUSBFamily.kext e IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext that are necessary to work the USB after the update, that replaces this files. What you have to do: 1. Download and unzip the kernel on Desktop 2. Start Terminal.app and write this sudo -s mv ~/Desktop/mach_kernel_atom / cd ~/Desktop mkdir backup cd /S*/L*/E* cp -R AppleHDA.kext ~/Desktop/backup/ cp -R IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext ~/Desktop/backup/ cp -R IOUSBFamily.kext ~/Desktop/backup/ Now you can start the update ONLY FROM COMBO UPDATE (you can find here). IT'S VERY IMPORTANT that, when update finish: NOT reboot. 3. Back on Terminal and write cd /S*/L*/E* rm -Rf AppleIntelGMA950.kext rm -Rf AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext rm -Rf AppleHDA.kext cp -R ~/Desktop/backup/* ./ 4. Delete SleepEnabler.kext On my installation the "Extra" folder was hidden, so with ShowHiddenFiles.app you need to show it. ShowHiddenFiles.zip Delete SleepEnabler.kext from /Extra/Extensions*. *(If you don't find SleepEnabler.kext on /Extra/Extensions search it on /Sistema/Libreria/Extensions) What you need to do if you forget to delete SleepEnabler.kext 5. Restore USB kext We put "backups" folder on S/L/E (/System/Library/Extensions) folder so copy IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext and paste it on /S/L/E. If you not have a backup there is mine: USB Fix 10.6.8.zip Repair permissions with KextUtility. 6. Edit kernel on boot.plist On my Extra folder i don't have any org.chameleon.boot.plist, so i edit com.apple.boot.plist on /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration. Copy the file and past it on Desktop, then open it with TextEdit.app, changing: <key>Kernel</key> <string>custom</string> to <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel_atom</string> PAY ATTENTION about you write. For a wrong word the system doesn't boot Check that the value <key>USBBusFix</key> <string>Yes</string> is in the file. Now save and copy com.apple.boot.plist in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration replacing the older. [if you want you can copy it also on /Extra] If you want: You can create org.chameleon.boot.plist copying the text of com.apple.boot.plist and you can create the smbios.plist file with Chameleon Wizard to put it on /Extra. 6. Now you can reboot. First boot after Update to 10.6.8 Now we not have any VGA driver, so: 1. from the backup folder restore the AppleHDA.kext on /System/Library/Extensions. 2. unzip the VGA drivers: 3438-GMA950 for 10.zip and put all files on /S/L/E/. 3. Repair the permissions with KextUtility.app 4. Reboot. Wireless 1. From SLE copy IONetworkingFamily.kext and past it on Desktop. 2. Now put it on /Extra/Extensions. (Don't skip the copy on Desktop or you can have permissions problem) 3. Unzip the driver Broadcom Broadcom43XXFamily.kext.zip and put it on /Extra/Extensions 4. Repair permissions 5. Reboot Issues Trackpad: After the repair of USB and reboot the trackpad doesn't works, so i fixed it with this pkg VoodooPS2Controller.pkg.zip USB recognized by System Information but not mounted: You need to restore IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext (at the end of topic) and IOUSBFamily.kext, both of kext. At the time all seems works! Credits A special thanks to carbo178, which helped me to solve all the problems after installation and without whom I would have (most likely) trashed my netbook Files Chameleon 2.0 RC4.zip ShowHiddenFiles.zip USB Fix 10.6.8.zip Kernel Atom qui (Original post qui) 3438-GMA950 for 10.zip Broadcom43XXFamily.kext.zip VoodooPS2Controller.pkg.zip
  7. Hello guys, I've installed Mac OS X using the iAtkos 10.8.2 ML2 iso and it worked perfectly. However, I: 1. updated to 10.8.4 by downloading a Combo update, (I did not restart at this point.) 2. I removed nvida + ati kexts (I have Intel HD Graphics 3000) 3. removed AppleHDA.kext (Restarted) And my laptop hangs on: [iOBluetoothHCIController::setConfigState] calling registerService I've tediously searched for a solution for this for days I'm getting nowhere at the moment. 9. Recently I've tried to install ML on my XPS 14 using the iATKOS ML3U (UEFI computers). 1. I downloaded the official torrent; 2. Burned [iATKOS_ML3U.dmg] to my USB flash drive using TransMac (as recommended); 3. Set the computer to UEFI enabled, SATA AHCI; 4. Tried with and without Virtualization ON; 5. Secure boot OFF. The problem is: When I try boot the USB I get stuck in a black screen, I can't even see Apple Logo, Bootloader, nothing. I just turn on the computer and then I only see this black screen. Any hints?
  11. Hiya everyone, With some help of the excellent guides on this forum (thanks so much for that, it is great for newbies!) I managed to get my first Hackintosh running. I am now writing this from OSX 10.7.2. I love it. I'm just having a few minor issues that I'd like to solve, and I hoped you guys could help me out! (yes, I did do research and checked the forums, but I couldn't find anything yet.) Whenever I boot my Mac, it either gets stuck after DSMOS has arrived and it says "NTFS Volume etc.", or it takes a long time and then eventually boots up the GUI. Also, when it finally boots (this usually takes 3 minutes from the point it reads "NTFS") I see the GUI, and all the programs initialize (like Spotify etc.) and my mouse moves, but clicking or typing on the keyboard doesn't work for about a minute. I'd hope to solve that, just like the following problem: Sometimes, and this more often doesn't work than does, when I try to copy something from 1 place to another, the copy dialog comes up, but it'll read "Zero bytes from ...", and stay like that. Clicking Stop doesn't stop it, the only stopping is done true "killlall Finder" in the Terminal. Also, Text Edit doesn't start up, but this is not such a problem. My system: AMD Athlon x4 640 AsRock M3A770DE (AMD 770 NB, SB710) 4GB ram, ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GT 430. I have installed iAtkos L2 through installing Snow Leopard first, then running the Lion installer and replacing the mach_kernel by this one: http://www.osx86.net...md!!!!!!!!.html (version4, that's what the guide I used, http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/278181-amd-1073-guide-experimental-only/, recommended) The boot flags I use are as follows (yes, I also run it in verbose mode for the time being) : -legacy -v arch=i386 npci=0x3000 I hope you guys could help me out getting my Lion to run stable, would be great! Thanks in advance, Daan

  15. My first post in here. I have been trying to install hackintosh in my Sony Vaio for the past 5 days without any success. Tried iAtkos S3 v2, Hazard 10.6.1-10.6.2, Hazard 10.6.6i, all failed. I was able to boot to the DVD and reach till the customization screen. But I am not sure about the options to be selected in the customization. I am doing a fresh install, and the installation reaches till end. But when I try to boot to the installed mac I had never reached the desktop. If someone have installed mac successfull in vaio or those who can give me a step by step process I will be really thankful. 17. My iAtkos L2 disk boots fine, I am selecting all the necessary packages, and I install. However, when it gets to about 8 minutes remaining, the installer will freeze, and after a while the computer will reboot. The iAtkos partition won't boot, it kernel panics if I let it go to the apple logo, and if I -v it gets stuck on Tarugas HDAEnabler. I figured it was something to do with the installer not completing, but how do I get it to finish? I tried erasing re installing, this time it got to about 3 minutes before freezing and rebooting, still not able to boot. My computer is a sager np8130/clevo p151hm1 intel i7 2360qm nvidia gtx560m

Hello i have a Sony VPCF11M1E, i saw that there is a long topic about this for SL (with the notebook partially working on SL) but nothing on Lion. i tried myself to make it work with ###### and ITAKOS L2 but i get stuck on pci configuration error while booting (tried a lot of combination with the varios boot options). Some guy managed to make to pass this error adding two kexts but it has problem with Still waiting for root device, so i guess it's a problem with the chipest (It's a PM55). This is post intstallation, i cant even get to the install. i insert the disc, boot up the PC and i get to the iAtkos boot screen, press any key to boot from disc or press f8 for more options, ive tried boot flags or whatever you call them -x with -v -x, -v, -s wont boot at all. it says ERROR: Firewire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full-secure. I wait and then i get Still waiting for root device this continues on and on. I've seen posts about still waiting for root device but none of the replys ever seem to work. when i turn off fire wire in BIOS, i get "com.apple.AppleFSCompresionTypeZlib load succeeded." then still waiting for root device I once got what I though was a kernel panic, cant quite remember, something like please take a photo of the screen and send to someone and explain what you were doing at the time. sorry for any inconvenience (then loads of different numbers. if I don't use any boot flags then my apple logo appears with the loading pin and then a few mins later I get the circle with diagonal line through it. I don't know what to do, i have an idea it might be something to do with my hard drive. I recently had iDeneb leopard installed but i really need snow leopard i watched a video on YouTube how to do it with pentium 4 processor and 512mb ram, it is possible, apple may say its not compatible but I've seen it up and running. so if it is my hard drive maybe i need to format it to a certain type, but I don't know how with no OS installed as i formatted iDeneb through Windows XP installation disk but only to (raw) I don't know what that is, it doesn't pick up NTFS file system. so i really don't know. please help! and I've spent like an hour explaining this so please don't say its not compatible or something stupid because I know it is i just need an answer! Thanks! my photos wont upload
