I was caught with my pants down with this topic, almost actually applied the update until I realized it was Macbook Pro only.

I extracted, applied and benched them (ATI only), however they're not much faster.
Got 1 FPS more out of oceanwave, that's nothing to be worth mentioning.
Version updated from 7.12.9 to 7.14.5 for me.
Maybe someone could try the Nvidia drivers to see if those are any better.

Yep, beside OpenGL for all GPUs OpenCL is updated for AMD only, Nvidia OpenCL is untouched (AMD OpenCL had/has more bugs than Nvidia).

Anyone could make an ATI "exotic" patch for this? Or could someone tell me how to patch the binary of the kext??
Because info.plist editing is not enough.
My IOPCIMatch(or what is it called): 0x944C1002

It''s for MacBooks only, real Hackintosh computers don't have those problems. This update addresses an issue where MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid
2010) computers may intermittently freeze or stop displaying video.

not sure if i should try this or wait for 10.7.3
im running a Diamond 1GB ATI hd 4870. the issue i was having seems to be minor and kinda hard to replicate.
i have had a screen flicker when unraring files, and then drag the file from the folder location its unraring to the desktop while its still being unzipped... i have had it do this at other times as well but i can not replicate..
i know most people dont move rars while being unzipped so its not realy that big a deal still it should not do this...
all so i can not enable hardware acceleration on flash, once enable i can play about 5 flash vids and the screen flickers then just drops all output to the screens. this seems to be moar of a flash issue tho as it happens on windows as well...

uhm I don't think this update would affect your gpu in anyway to tell the truth because it is not specific to your gpu. Can you give more details about your system so I could help you out a bit but I know for a fact this update does not apply to your case.
