Back in the day of warez when everything was done through web forums, newsgroups, and irc. It was the time that only the "cool" people could get their hands on stuff... And, no, I wouldn't say a public beta will ever come out, just maybe one more Dev Preview to show the developers the Top Secret stuff when it's not so secret anymore. Also a lot of beta seeds to beta testers, which, some of them, end up sneaking to the web anyways, so we might get a sort of final but buggy release through BT some day.
