I don't know why my previous post was removed.
Anycase, I've HP workstation with Xeon W3680 (6 core Gulftown.X58 Express chipset).
After several attempts, I am able to boot 10.6.3 with "busratio=25" and CPUID in the BIOS disabled. All the
cores with HT enabled work just fine.
This is using Chameleon 2.0 RC4 & vanilla kernel.
Things not working:
1. NVS 295 - swapped out for Quaddro FX570
2. onboard BCM5764M gigabit ethernet - will be swapping out for Realtek
3. onboard LSI SAS controller - it appears correct kernel extension is loaded but
when I create a RAID setup in the bios Leopard doesn't recognize it. So, using
SoftRAID for now.
4. Sound - not tried yet.

Can you explain if you are using a distro like like Leohazard or did you built a custom dvd or usb using Chameleon 2.0 RC4 & vanilla. Also, what were your bios settings. Please be specific.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Getting the quadros to work are almost non existant or no one is posting how to do it. I have the quadro fx 4800 I have posted questions until my fingers blistered and nothing. I am starting to think it can't be done.

I'm having a HP Z400 as well but I'm having problems with the USB. It just works sometimes, like 1 out 20 reboots. I've tried with USBBusFix=Yes but that didn't help. Any ideas how to solve this?

I actually found a DSDT.aml file that made the USB work. The DSDT provided by MaLd0n in this thread: http://www.insanelym...p;#entry1655131
I also managed to get the NIC working with this kext: http://www.insanelym...p;#entry1400776
So now everything works, except sound but I don't need that.

How did you disabled the CPUID in the BIOS? Can't find CPUID in any place.
