Can someone please give help

I have a Zotac 9800 GT 1GB can not get Dual monitors to work at all.

The Zotac will only work with the VGA If I have the DVI connected it will not boot

So I bought an ATI 4350 1GB

Now when I swap over I get a white screen after 40 sec of the Apple with the rotating wheel

So I though it might be because of the NVidia Drivers so I swapped back

and removed the NVD*.kext from the S/L/E directory

and NVEnabler 64.kext from the E/E directory

Still no joy in getting the new card to work

Now I have my Nvidia back in and I can only get 1024x768 resolution which looks {censored}

Please How do I get my ATI 4350 1GB to work and hopefully with Dual Monitors

Thanks in advance

Not sure If I'm going forward or backward

I have removed all NVidia and deleted the com.apple.kext.caches from /S/L/C

Now when I boot using the ATI 4350 card

It boots and then both monitors power down (Orange light) and black display IMPLIES NO INPUT signal

I can ssh into the machine so it booted and is running but nothing shows on either display (DVI or VGA)

Seeing I have ssh access is there any command line stuff I can do like Kext Utility loads, or EFI Studio ???

Any ideas ??

I experience this too when I reinstall my hackintosh

first i'm in 10.6, I need to boot with "-x -f arch=i386" to get rid of blank screen

then I do 10.6.5 update, reinject the device id to Info.plist and it works fine now without any bootflags ;)

Currently I have DVI working only when connected to a DVI monitor using a DVI to VGA converter does NOT work

Still the VGA to VGA monitor does NOT work

How do you reinject the device id to Info.plist ???

Can you please break this into steps for me

Thanks

Just tried to replace my DVI cable to VGA cable to test this out.

Seems like this works on DVI only. VGA isn't working, still get the blank screen.

To inject the device id, look at this post : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=221422#

There is a detailed information about adding the device id in the middle of the post.

I have same problem too. I tried everything but I can not get rid of black screen. Snow Leopard boots but without signal from videocard

I know it can be hard I managed to get the DVI working by simply using a DVI monitor

Still can not get VGA to work thou, my ATI4500Controller.kext and ATIRadeonX2000.kext already had the Device ID

Still would like to get the VGA to function

Great! I will try to update when I get home. Your monitor has DVI or VGA input? Mine has only VGA input and in 10.6.5 version I get blank screen no matter if i connect to the video card by VGA port or by DVI port via donngle
