  1. ATI 4350

I recently upgraded to 10.6.8 Now when I boot normally My screen has random speckled white blocks and then goes black with random white lines on the top 1/4 of the screen If I boot using -v -x It now says under System Profiler Type GPU (should be ATI 4350 Bus PCIe VRAM 3MB (should be 1024) Vendor ATI (0x1002) Device ID 0x954f Revision ID 0x000 Resolution 1024 x 768 1) It is stuck in a single resolution I need a bigger resolution 2) It does not show the correct amount of Memory 3MB should be 1GB card 3) in safe mode I have NO audio, was ALC888 but System Profiler now says Device ID 892 that's all Any help greatly appreciated Thanks in advance

  4. ATI Radeon HD4350 PCIe

Not sure If I'm going forward or backward I have removed all NVidia and deleted the com.apple.kext.caches from /S/L/C Now when I boot using the ATI 4350 card It boots and then both monitors power down (Orange light) and black display IMPLIES NO INPUT signal I can ssh into the machine so it booted and is running but nothing shows on either display (DVI or VGA) Darwin/x86 boot v5.0.132 - Chameleon v2.0-RC4_PCEFI_10.5_AsereBLN r BuildDate: 2010-02-12 01:05:22 3071MB memory When booting with -x -v I see mbinit: done (64 MB memory set for mbuf pool) netkas presents fakesmc, a kext which emulates smc device HDAEnabler: copyright © 2008 by Kabyl HDAEnabler: 05/05/2008 Added SPAudio support: Taruga Not loading kext com.apple.kext.ATI4600Controller - not found and kextd not available in early boot HDAEnabler: copyright © 2008 by Kabyl HDAEnabler: 05/05/2008 Added SPAudio support: Taruga FireWire runtime power conservation disabled (2) From path: "uuid", Waiting for boot volume with UUID B3B..... .... .... Any ideas ?? Gaining Remote Screen Sharing Access I have found the following In System Profiler Chipset Model: ATI Radeon 4300 Type: GPU Bus: PCIe Slot: Slot-1 PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 1024 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x954f Revision ID: 0x0000 ROM Revision: 113-B7710C-176 EFI Driver Version: 01.00.318 Displays: Display Connector: Display Connector: So it has detected the Graphics Cards Not the Displays?? Thanks in advance
  5. ATI Radeon HD4350 PCIe

Can someone please give help I have a Zotac 9800 GT 1GB can not get Dual monitors to work at all. The Zotac will only work with the VGA If I have the DVI connected it will not boot So I bought an ATI 4350 1GB Now when I swap over I get a white screen after 40 sec of the Apple with the rotating wheel So I though it might be because of the NVidia Drivers so I swapped back and removed the NVD*.kext from the S/L/E directory and NVEnabler 64.kext from the E/E directory Still no joy in getting the new card to work Now I have my Nvidia back in and I can only get 1024x768 resolution which looks {censored} Please How do I get my ATI 4350 1GB to work and hopefully with Dual Monitors Thanks in advance
  6. GAR1983 Did you manage to get more than just VGA ? I have the same card and I'm stuck at the same place just VGA works Thanks
  7. HP m9040n

Hi I have an HP m9040n Which has the 82801I ICH9 controllers one is the 82801IR ICH9R LPC Interface Controller or 15in1 Card Reader with IR Anyone got this working ?? Also I'm struggling with getting two networks cards to work. It detected my on Board 82566DC-2 Gigabit NIC fine But I have a second Intel 82541PI gigabit NIC that it does not see at all. How do I create or get en1 to be active and available? Then lastly I'm still struggling with Zotac 9500GT Works great with Just VGA, but I need dual monitors Any help here would be great too. Thanks in advance
  8. Any Ideas on how to have DUAL network cards ? I have an onboard network card Intel 825662DC-2 and a PCI network card Intel Gigabit 82541 PI also tried a 3COM 3c905C It works great with the onboard, but does not seem to detect the second NIC at all in linux I would use lspci but this does not work in OS X and I can't decipher the IORegistryExplorer Info Just need to get TWO NICs working Any help greatly appreciated Thanks
  9. Hi All I'm so close yet so far I have been following the NVEnabler 64.kext pages and Just can't get dual monitors to work I have tried the different settings from Page 1 and none do the job. I HAVE to boot using just the VGA monitor connection. If I have the DVI connection I get a black screen and the monitor goes to sleep NO Booting Once Started, I connect the second monitor, and then do Detect Displays The VGA monitor goes to sleep AFTER the DVI monitor now shows the primary screen and all functions well Until I click Detect Display a second time and it hangs everything. Please anyone with a Zotac GeForce 9500GT and Dual Monitors please can I see your Info.plist for NVEnabler Also Does the display-cfg 03010000 does this value 03010000 mean anything about the type of monitor and/or the type of connector? It was stated somewhere For Single DVI cards: DVI/VGA port is on channel 1 (so VGA port on #2) What does this mean?? And How do I pick and/or set the channel? My card has VGA closest to motherboard and DVI. Both connect to Starlogic 17" LCD monitors the DVI via a DVI-VGA adapter. Any help on this would be welcome, as this is the only thing wrong I can't get dual displays. Thanks in advance
