x2PhaNToM
Hi! I've got my ALC888 to work with in a 5.1 configuration. The only problem is, that I get no bass when listening to stereo material like mp3 in iTunes. In windows I had to activate Bass redirection to hear something from my subwoofer. Is there anything similar in Leopard? 5.1 DVD are working fine with bass etc. greets Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99994-bass-redirection/ Share on other sites
mimimimi
same problem here.surround sound is working but i have 5small satellites + subwoofer so i need to cut-off the bass frequency at around 120hz and redirect it to subwoofer or else the sub is mute.is there something to be done?in windows there's usually a setting in the audio mixer.or, the audio codec should be able to handle it, like ac3filter does.but i cant seem to find any in VLC, Quicktime, or Sound preferences.if i could at least be able to make it work in a single player...
