kdraggy
I wonder if I can update my 10.4.1 system to 10.4.5 using combo update. From Apple site: The Mac OS X 10.4.5 Update (combo) updates Mac OS X 10.4, 10.4.1, 10.4.2, 10.4.3, or 10.4.4 to version 10.4.5 on both Intel-based Macs and PowerPC-based Macs. (If you are just updating from Mac OS X 10.4.4 to 10.4.5, see this article instead.)... ...DMG file named MacOSXUpdCombo10.4.5PPC.dmg...Will this combo update work on my Intel system with maxxuss patches applied? Viscaria
No, this is ONLY for PPC based macs. There is no combo update for ICBM's because the first retail version of OS X for intel was 10.4.4. matemago
well, i was reading at http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303180 and it says: About the Mac OS X 10.4.5 Update (combo) The Mac OS X 10.4.5 Update (combo) updates Mac OS X 10.4, 10.4.1, 10.4.2, 10.4.3, or 10.4.4 to version 10.4.5 on both Intel-based Macs and PowerPC-based Macs. so it seems it is also for intel...
