Hey guys, i'm relatively new to the OSX86 scene. I have fallen in love with Macs, and because I can't afford one, I feel this is the only way i'll get to use one at home in mean time.

Ok, so i've downloaded the Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel_Amd (sse2/sse3) EFI V8

Now, obviously for every different system there will be different patches, drivers and kernals to use for every system during the installation, I don't know the differences between them all and what ones to use for the hardware in my system. I've checked the forum, but everything seems a little confusing. Everyone seems to know what ones to use...

So I was wondering if you guys could help me, by suggesting what fixes, kernals and drivers to install with Leopard that will go with my Hardware. And give me a little idea of what to expect. I'd appreciate it so much, and would be very grateful!

Here are my system specs:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz

Motherboard: EVGA Nforce 680i

Memory: OCZ 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 CL 4-4-4-15 PLATINUM XTC

GFX Card: EVGA nVidia 8800 GTS 512mb

PSU: Antec TruePower Quattro 850W

If you can recommend which patches, drivers and/or kernals to use in this installation for my hardware I would be verrrrrry grateful! And I apologize for being clueless!

Many Thanks! ;)

i would check the components listing of the wiki for 10.5.1 10.5.2 and 10.5.0 to see what you need to install in the latest. Should be similar

thanks so much for your response!

I did check that list, but it says a few things regarding my nforce 680i mobo having problems, but I dont know if it's changed since the new Kalyway release?
