Takuro
I don't know if this was posted before, but the new System Profiler doesn't display computers as "Apple Development Platform." It now tries to judge what computer you're running based on your hardware. However, if you have an intel CPU and have a certain hardware config that's very different from the iMac, it will become confused and display "error occurred in processing profile" or something like that. However, try running it through Rosetta. The Profiler then runs through a list of PowerPC based computers and chooses the closest config. I happened to get PowerPC. And no this isn't a snapshot from a real ppc mac. Note the CPU speed. I'm sure once 10.4.6 rolls out, there will be a more complete list of hardware configs and running it without Rosetta will be even more interesting. It even assigned my computer a Mac serial number! o_O Try it yourself! Tek_No
Hmmm... I got myself "only" a PowerMac running at 1.4 gHz But it's a DAMN fast PowerMac with a "flying" Mac Os X 10.4.5 on it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9914-1044s-system-profilerapp-interesting-profile/#findComment-62413 Share on other sites
