muitommy
I know there's one thread in Post-installations-Tiger section, http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=44283 but clearly that, it's for Tiger, not for Leopard ... i once got sleep working in my leopard too (10.5.2) , the exact same setup below ... but once i did a fresh install, the sleep ability of my machine is gone ... could anyone who can sleep (S3) kindly post up their version of following kexts - AppleACPIPlatform.kext (stock? wif fix?) - AppleSMBIOS.kext - Kernel - EFI or not - EFI-String or not Please Simply post up a kextstat and kernel version into a txt file, thanks! Type this in Terminal: uname -a >> ~/desktop/info.txt kextstat >> ~/desktop/info.txt and upload the info.txt which locate in your desktop. Thanks for your time Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/98807-calling-for-all-people-who-want-sleep-functions/ Share on other sites

ivik
My sleep only works if i boot in verbose mode and if i do kextcache -e -z -a i386, or if use verbose mode and -f switch. If for example, i install new kext, and osx automatically run kextcache i can't suspend. With -v -f switches always works. I run vanilla acpi and kernel on intel 940gml chipset. DrFruit
Hi, Sleep works perfectly on mine, would you like full BIOS screen shots and info on the requested kext files above? e.g. SMBIOS.kext etc etc? I'm going to write a full document at some point soon for others that want a cheap but great performing 10.5.1 machine, i'll keep you all posted once ive done the screen shots on install etc... cheers, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/98807-calling-for-all-people-who-want-sleep-functions/#findComment-706045 Share on other sites
