ZX81
Posted in the wiki just now: Issues: 1.Upon installing 10.4.4 it found my wireless network automatically. It has since crapped out (upon reboot) and currently troubleshooing (posting from 10.4.3) Tried the normal 1450 truemobile workaround, copying and loading kext from 10.4.3 (didnt work) 2. Safari htpps web sites: used the copy keychain kexts workaround, worked 3. Safari crash....flash? camino worked fine on same sites. Lost network after this.. 4. Rebooted and lost wireless and wired network; copied and installed kext from 10.4.3, & repaired permissions, no luck so far 5. Wierd Xbench version1.2 result. Open GL test displays graphics, I can see the test executing albiet slowly. The graphic is static, but if I drag the window around with the mouse I can see it refreshing: its not waiting for me to move the window, the action does not stop. Checked about this mac and it still says no video kext loaded, states 256mb card as per 10.4.3 Reboot & opengl effect stays Mods, please move this thread to a different spot if its in the wrong one. I see lots of posts on installing the system, harder to find workarounds for 10.4.4 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9814-1044-issues/ Share on other sites
ZX81
Fixed it Don't know yet what caused the network loss, was it the first reboot? Anyway symtoms were no wireless & airport not configured error Copied across the: IONetworkingFamily.kext IO80211Family.kext & repaired permisissions, rebooted with wired ethernet cable connected and got airport port discovered message. Before when it wasn't working it was visible in about this mac but shown as not configured in top menu bar Hope this helps someone, system back running fine now, going to troubleshoot safari Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9814-1044-issues/#findComment-61376 Share on other sites
