Dog_Paddle Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 My sound card (Realtek HD Audio rear output) doesn't show up, nor does it work. I tried the AC97 kext thing, and it didn't help at all. Is it possible that it is completely unsuported? If so what is the cheapest external sound card I can get? domino Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 If you're using linux, win98 or winxp, they should work since they have native drivers for it. But you'll really have a hard time getting it to work with OS9. I might be rong, but you can't use an AC97 audio card on a Intel Imac. hint-hint...
